Our history
1958
Alphonse Dejeond’s entire life was guided by a spirit of independence and the pursuit of excellence in his passion for metalwork.
Built from a single piece, endowed with a strong character and uncommon working strength, and after working in a factory for a few years, he decided to launch his own wrought-iron business in the late 50s. He worked for private individuals, making wrought-iron and other ironwork, but soon diversified his activities in line with market demand.
Industrial or hospital sheet metal work, aluminium window frames with integration of doors, glazing…, then counter armouring, door armouring, window armouring for the banking sector….
1989
In 1989, the decision was taken to relocate the business to the Saint-Léonard district, in former warehouses. This acquisition was in line with the company’s ambitions.
To become a benchmark player in its field. The spacious workshop is equipped with an overhead crane. The building also boasts perfectly laid-out offices. This is an important step in the life of the company, with new challenges ahead for both Alphonse and his daughter Anne.
She joins the family business. Here, she mainly coordinates all administrative aspects, including purchasing.
2004
Inheriting her father’s entrepreneurial spirit, Anne Dejeond quickly established herself as a key player in the construction industry, a difficult, demanding and predominantly male-dominated sector.
With a dynamic team built up over the years, the company is ready to take on new challenges.
Under his leadership, prestigious projects were completed, such as the elevators and complex frames at Liège Guillemins station, and the renovation of the Opera Royal de Wallonie.
2023
In 2023, Nicolas Lentz took over the management of Dejeond Delarge, which had been in business since 1958.
His intention is simple: to continue the work accomplished over the decades, while evolving the structure to meet today’s needs.
Committed to the workshop’s know-how and the quality of its creations, he is careful to preserve the methods and exacting standards that are the company’s hallmark.
With his team, he develops the business by staying close to customers and partners, and maintaining a balance between traditional craftsmanship and technical solutions adapted to today’s projects.
